- Contractor Safety and Health Management
Paiho has established a contractor occupational health and safety management system. All contractors entering the facility for construction must sign the “Contractor Safety, Health, and Environmental Commitment” Letter prior to commencing operations. The Occupational Safety and Health Office, along with relevant departments, will conduct ad-hoc inspections throughout the construction phase. Taiwan Paiho has progressively enhanced management rigor and execution. In 2024, represent a 108% increase compared to 2023, demonstrating proactive efforts in managing occupational health and safety risks for external construction personnel.
- Occupational Safety and Health Education and Training
Paiho consistently organizes educational training courses and emergency response and Drills. These courses align with local safety and health laws and the specific requirements of each factory’s safety and health management. In 2024, Paiho conducted a total of 31 emergency response drills, and 13,161 person-times of occupational safety and health (OSH) education and training, with cumulative training hours reaching 55,980, including fire drills, chemical leak drills, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety protocols for high-temperature equipment or high-voltage electrical work.
- Accident Investigation and Occupational Injury Statistics
In the event of an occupational health and safety incident, Paiho determine the severity of the incident and initiate appropriate emergency response measures. After investigating the incident, we will implement corrective and improvement actions.In addition, we will enhance education and training to prevent similar events in the future.There were no major industrial safety incidents or fire injuries during 2024. However, there were a total of 6 cases of occupational disasters involving 6 employees (accounting for 0.59% of the total number of employees at the end of 2024).
