Respect for Human Rights
Paiho values its employees as its most valuable assets and is committed to supporting their career development. Additionally, Paiho upholds internationally recognized human rights standards, including the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact, and the International Labor Organization. To ensure the protection of human rights and promote fair and equal treatment, Paiho has established a "Human Rights Policy".
- Specific Plans
The Company’s human rights policy and specific plans include: compliance with all national labor laws, prohibition of forced labor, prohibition of child labor, emphasis on humane treatment, respect for the right to free association, and emphasis on health and welfare.
- Training and Verification
To implement employee human rights, training sessions of the related human rights and labor regulations were provided for new hires when onboarding. Total education training regarding human rights provided in 2024 was 165 hours with 181participants. Since 2015, Vietnam Paiho has implemented the SA 8000 Social Accountability Management System, which undergoes regular verification.
- Human Rights Risk Identification
Paiho has implemented management policies and procedures such as the “Work Rules,” “Prevention Plan for Unlawful Acts against Employees in the Performance of their Duties,” “Regulations on Prevention of Workplace Sexual Harassment, Complaints, and Disciplinary Management,” and “Employee Complaint Management Measures.” These measures aim to create a supportive work environment. Paiho conducts a “human rights due diligence investigation” across multiple production and operational sites every year. The investigation findings will inform proposed improvement measures aimed at minimizing the occurrence of human rights risks. In 2024, Paiho had no incidents involving human rights risks.
