Waste Recycling
Paiho places significant emphasis on addressing environmental issues stemming from waste. In addition to waste generated primarily during production, such as textile residues, sludge, and furnace slag, Paiho gives priority to managing waste paper, waste plastics, and kitchen waste resulting from raw material procurement and daily employee activities through recycling methods.
In 2022, Taiwan Paiho Limited introduced a reuse pathway for fuel rods, where qualified vendors convert textile remnants into "Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF)." This initiative increased the on-site waste reutilization rate to over 90%, a level that has been maintained through 2024.
